Week 14: Inspiration

The book we have begun, We Beat the Street, is based on overcoming obstacles and the people or events that helped them achieve their goals.

Share some people or events that have contributed to your life: helped you, taught you, led you, inspired you. You can decide how personal you want to be!

wow, there are so many people who have contributed to my life. to start i can say teachers, teachers have shown me that i really want to be one! all my teachers have been great, and i know that they DO make a difference in childrens lives, I want to make a difference in YOUNG children's lives.

my mom is another person who has taught me so much. even if its what not to do, i have learned so much from my mom. i look up to her because she does so much for me being a single mom, i have everything every other kid does, except i only have ONE parent. i try to do well and over achieve to make my mom proud. but it's really not hard to make her proud. =D

lastly, i guess i would say that my friends have contributed to my life a lot. most of the time the way your friends act is the way you do, they make up a little part of you. they are always there for me and it's great to know that someone has your back.

i love ALL the people who have contributed to my life! =D

I've been through a lot these past couple of years. People have come in, and left. Things happen and people change. Sometimes life goes by you so fast you don't even have time to breathe. But no matter what has happend i would be no where if it werent for the people who have helped me through.

For starters, My grandfather is my hero! He helped me through the worst times of me life and brought me to better grounds. His intelligence, and loving heart made me realize life is worth living. If it werent for him i dont know what id be doing.

Next would be my friends, esp. my best friend PAH! we have been friends for 14 yrs and things have been great ever since! we share everything together, and we both know that no matter what, we will always have eachother!

Lastly, saving the best for last, would be to my mom. She has been through so much to make us have the best life possible. Shes given up so much, and always seems to pull through. Shes there when i need her, and there even when i push her away. I try my hardest to do the my best, and to make her happy!

Love them all very much ;]

There are a lot of people who've helped me become who i am today. My teachers have all taught me well, as well as my sports coaches. People like my basketball coach who told me i could do anything if i pushed harder, my favorite singer who always makes time for her fans no matter how busy she is, my mom who is always believing in me. There are so many people that are expecting highly of me in the future, which makes me proud.

all the things Jackie said are so true! not to many people have left my life but quite a few have come in.

i always thought i was bad at making friends because i've always had the same friends and that has always been ok with me. this year so many new people have come into my life. i have joined student leadership, FBLA, and i'm the vice president of Freshman Executive Council. these groups are not people i usually hang out with. i've learned that hanging out with people that you normally wouldn't helps you break out of your shell. i have changed so much this year and i think that's because of all the new people, they have influenced my life. i know that i will change over the next three years as well and i think it will be for the better.

so next time you're talking to someone or making a new friend just remember, your actions influence others.

The things that have inspired me the most was my dad would never let me have bad grades. He would always want me to have a C or higher. And he always told me to never give up on anything and alwas try my hardest. He always wanted me to do well in school.

This book is kind of inspirational, to tell the truth. All the talk about doctors makes me want to do it all the more.
I'll tell you, I really want to go and be on my own now. I want to go to college, and med school, and be an intern, then a resident, then an attending, and save all of your lives.
The End.

My grandfather inspires me the most. I really want to be like him. He's why I want to join the navy, and why I want to be a pilot.
